An initial visit to your home, where their team will walk through and conduct a thorough assessment. This includes documentation of appliances and mechanical systems, an assessment of each room, drone inspection of your roof and robotic inspection of any crawlspaces. Finally, a post-assessment debrief to review the findings, review your Digital Inventory of appliance manuals and create a customized plan for tackling projects and quarterly maintenance based on your needs and desires.
Quarterly Maintenance Visit:
Preventative maintenance visits arranged for a time that is most suitable for you. Each visit is tailored to the unique features of your home and appliances. These include services like replacing air and water filters, descaling water heaters and ice makers, cleaning vent lines and much more.
(2) Two Hours of Handyman time included. From repairing caulking to hanging TVs and pictures, to patching walls or installing shelves – you choose how to apply these hours. HomePoint also provides assistance with managing larger projects that require trade-specialists via HomePoint’s vetted network, to complete the task to your standard.
The cost of this service and expertise is $1,000.00 per year for homes 3,000 square feet or less, $1,500 per year for homes between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet, and $2,000.00 per year for homes over 5,000 square feet. No, you are in no way required to use HomePoint’s recommended and vetted trade specialists. Understanding that it can be difficult to decipher factors such as pricing, quality of work, responsiveness and qualifications, HomePoint looks to alleviate this burden. HomePoint operates similar to a general care doctor who works closely with specialists. However, when you have a recommendation from someone you trust or previously have worked with a tradesperson that you prefer, that is all the better and you should feel free to use them!
HomePoint will reach out directly to your via email to arrange the Home Physical and all Quarterly Maintenance Visits. You will have a primary “Home Doctor” who will be your primary point of contact for all things HomePoint related.
HomePoint recommends that you are present for the Home Physical to ensure alignment from the start. All field employees are subject to background checks but we allow you to decide whether you are comfortable with HomePoint employees accessing your property without you being present.
HomePoint looks to avoid inconvenience by scheduling at your preferred times and providing a specific appointment time rather than a multi-hour window that leave clients waiting.
In the event of an urgent home issue, your HomePoint “Home Doctor” and the HomePoint support staff will be available to you during the business day (8am-5pm) and will be able to coordinate the appropriate resource whether a maintenance-person or specialist will be needed.
HomePoint will only share that a Member has signed up for HomePoint services. No specifics or data about your home (Reports, photos, project work, updates on the maintenance services conducted, etc.) will be provided to PURE, unless you choose to provide it.
